Pain Relieving Vegan CBD-Infused Coconut Bites Launch in 3 Flavors

Wellness snack company Weller has launched a range of vegan CBD-Infused Coconut Bites in three different flavors.

CBD, or cannabidiol, is the non-psychoactive part of a cannabis or hemp plant, widely reported to have a calming effect on the body and the mind. Some medical professionals believe it can assist sufferers from anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.

Available in caramel, original, and dark chocolate, each pack of five Coconut Bites by Weller contains 25mg of CBD hemp extract. For some, this may be too much, for others, not enough, but Weller encourages customers to experiment with the amount they consume, to find the perfect balance for them.

“In fact, that’s pretty good advice for health and wellness in general,” says Weller. “Assess how the things you eat impact your body and your brain, and go from there.”

Launched in 2018, John and Matt, the founders of Weller, believe in the power of wellness snacks in helping people to relieve the stress from their daily lives.

“We’re confident in the calming, grounding effects of hemp extract,” notes the Weller website“We believe that it’s the ideal way to help people feel more empowered in their daily lives. After all, when people feel better, they can get to work making the world better.”

“‘Making the world better’ is a lofty goal,” it adds. “But it’s a cause the entire Weller team is deeply invested in, and we hope you’ll join us.”

The Growth of the CBD Market

The CBD industry is on the rise, with some predicting 2019 will be the year it really begins to boom. The cannabinoid is legal in most countries, where THC, the psychoactive part of the plant, isn’t.

In the U.S., President Trump recently signed the Farm Bill into law, legalizing the growth of hemp across 50 states, and accelerating the CBD market.

Bethany Gomez, the director of research at market research firm Brightfield Group, stated prior to the passing of the bill, “Once CBD is fully legalized, we expect that market to absolutely explode, with sales hitting $22 billion by 2022, which is higher than the US Cannabis industry. That growth will absolutely be a result of legalization.”
