Kat Von D and her cruelty-free, vegan beauty products are arguably renowned for leading the beauty industry into a kinder future. The plant-powered, makeup franchise ‘Kat Von D Beauty’ has announced the launch of their very first long-lasting liquid eyeliner. According to Von D, this is the “first ever longwear vegan liquid formula”.
The new liquid liner is certainly making headlines. It is not only formulated without animal ingredients or experimentation, but this product is designed specifically for the inner rim lash line – get ready for the beauty community to go into an excitable craze. As this product is liquid, it will apply wet but then “dries down to the most budge-proof opaque black”.
Like any proud entrepreneur, Von D took to Instagram to share her anticipation. “I know I should wait to announce this, but I just got the first final prototype for the upcoming @katvondbeauty LASH LINER and I’m just so excited!” She captioned. The make-up and tattoo artist also mentioned this lash liner has been in the making for years; it is safe to say it was designed to be a life-saver for beauty fanatics.
‘Grammers have also seen this lash liner in action up-close. Von D shared a picture of the product on her own eye, showing a strongly pigmented, sharp look. If that wasn’t enough, the liner is formulated to only need one coat – which of course, fans are going crazy for.
Von D is yet to announce the exact date of this product’s release, but she has assured it is “coming soon”.
This exciting reveal comes only days after Von D launched a ‘divine’ inspired beauty line and won a Libby award for the best cruelty-free cosmetic company. At this point, saying that Kat Von D Beauty is taking the beauty industry by storm is an understatement.
