Kourtney Kardashian Opts for Vegan Cheese Over Dairy

Organic-food loving Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she loves cooking up an indulgent mac ‘n cheese for her family… dairy-free mac ’n cheese!

The mum of three says that her kids don’t eat dairy or gluten, so using vegan cheese and almond milk in her gluten-free mac ’n cheese is the way forward. ‘I use all organic ingredients, gluten-free noodles, and non-dairy cheese whenever possible, as my kids and I aren’t eating gluten or dairy,’ she told People magazine.

Unfortunately, the reality star also suggests adding turkey bacon into the mix, because it’s healthier than pork bacon. However, if she just switched it up for some vegan bacon or some salty sun-dried tomatoes it would be even tastier and healthier!

The star said she uses two types of dairy-free cheese, almond milk, gluten-free macaroni and mustard to create the perfect comfort food for her and her family. Although Kardashian uses dairy cheese sometimes, she likes to opt for vegan cheese ‘whenever possible’ keeping in line with her healthy eating habits whilst still having a little bit of indulgence.
