Princess Beatrice Is Throwing a Royal Vegan Birthday Party

Princess Beatrice is planning a very vegan dinner party to celebrate her 31st birthday next month.

The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York recently adopted a plant-based diet according to the Mail on Sunday. The publication said the princess ditched animal products following her recent move from New York to London.

The royal family member will throw a fully vegan dinner party to celebrate; the dinner is being catered by The Admirable Crichton, regarded as “the best” caterers in London.

The British Royal Family and Veganism

More members of the British Royal Family are leaning away from meat, dairy, and eggs.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, adhere to a plant-based diet during the week. The couple have been cooking vegan food together rather than relying on a royal chef, according to reports. A source told Life & Style, “Meghan only eats organic food and she and Harry have even built their own vegetable garden at Frogmore. Harry’s picked up gardening tips from his dad, [Prince] Charles.”

Prince Charles, who at 70 years old is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history, is staying healthy by eating vegetarian food, according to the Daily Express.

The publication reported earlier this year that Prince Charles is “passionate” about organic food and regularly has meat-free days, a move which some have thanked for his “youthful figure.”

When the Prince of Wales took a stroll on a beach in Barbados, onlookers commented that he “looked absolutely incredible. He has a physique of a very fit man less than half his age. He is testament to living a healthy and active lifestyle.”

Lady Amelia Windsor, the 23-year-old granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, could also be considering a plant-based diet. She recently asked her Instagram followers for tips on how to go vegan.

The Royal Family is also taking a stand against animal cruelty. Prince Harry recently skipped out on traditional hunting events, and he and Meghan used their social platforms to call attention to the environmental work of actor Leonardo DiCaprio and teen activist Greta Thunberg. Prince William has become an outspoken advocate for wildlife conservation, recently sitting down with David Attenborough to discuss ways to help save the planet from climate change.
