Vegan Bodybuilders Bring Plant-Based Fitness Secrets to Health Conference in May

A panel of six prominent vegan bodybuilders will be featured at the upcoming Your Plant-Based Guide Conference, set to take place in Costa Mesa, Calif., next month.

The special panel will feature two-time vegan bodybuilder Robert Cheeke, vegan trainer and athlete Vanessa Espinoza, vegan bodybuilder Will Tucker and Ella Magers, founder of Sexy Fit Vegan who has been named “one of the 50 Hottest Trainers in America”  by Shape Magazine. Also included in the lineup is plant-based Dr. Angie Sadeghi, who was a finalist in PETA’s Sexiest Vegan Next Door Contest and celebrity trainer Thomas Tadlock, who is recognized as one of the top five trainers in the United States.

Panelists will share their secrets to staying fit, rapid and long-term weight loss, how to get enough protein on a vegan diet, and more. After the panel, guests will be welcome to attend a meet-and-greet with panelists for photos, book signing, and more.

Vegan Bodybuilders to Share Fitness Secrets at California Plant-Based Health Conference

According to the website, the Your Plant-Based Guide Conference is a two-day, health-focused, vegan conference that aims to inform attendees on topics related to how a plant-based diet can prevent disease, how to maintain a healthy weight on a vegan diet, how to build muscle on a vegan diet, plant-based nutrition, how to stay fit after 40, and how our food choices affect the planet.

The conference was founded and organized by Gina Bonanno-Lemos, a certified vegan nutrition specialist, award-winning author of “What The Fork? The Secret Cause of Disease,” and founder of 360 Health Connection. With the conference, Bonanno-Lemos hopes to dispel the myth of the weak vegan and attract more men to a plant-based diet. She also hopes to address the growing body of scientific evidence that shows how a vegan lifestyle can help mitigate the symptoms of or prevent chronic disease and conditions like heart disease, certain types of cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

The event will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa. Samples from vegan vendors will be offered at the free, on-site “mini veg fest” called The Plant-Based Marketplace.
