Updated August 10, 2019 | Biscuit brand Lotus Biscoff has launched vegan Biscoff & Go snack packs in the UK.

The product was previously available in the U.S. at Target, however, demand inspired Lotus Bakeries to bring the snack to the UK, too.

The grab-and-go item allows you to dip mini breadsticks into a pot of vegan Lotus Biscoff cookie butter spread. The snack contains no artificial colours or flavours.

Frances Booth, category marketing manager for Lotus Bakeries, said the Biscoff & Go product is “the perfect snack.”

“It all began with a little red biscuit and now we have become a three category brand, with the launch of Biscoff & Go rooting us firmly in the food-to-go market and driving sales in a new direction,” Booth said in a statement.

She continued, “We are delighted to introduce Biscoff & Go in the UK, so that our customers can enjoy the taste of Lotus Biscoff anytime, anywhere and in a handy ‘dunk and go’ format. Biscoff & Go is the perfect snack and another way in which retailers can benefit from the nation’s continued obsession with the unique caramelised flavour of Lotus Biscoff.”

If you want the spread without the biscuit, the brand now also offers squeezy bottles of Biscoff spread on Amazon, according to Instagram account Vegan Food UK.

The caramel biscuit has also inspired the creation of vegan Biscoff fudge. The treat, which was made by the UK-based artisan fudge company FabFudge, was available for a limited time over Christmas. The company also created vegan Amaretto, Peanut Butter, Christmas Cake, and Baileys Almande fudge for the festive season, but it also offers year-round vegan fudge flavours, including Pistachio, Creme Egg, Cinder Toffee, Rum & Raisin, Cashew & Maple Syrup, Banoffee, and Oreo.

Earlier this year it was reported that Co-op was selling giant vegan shortbread biscuits. The snack was created by UK-based bakery Emma’s Country Cakes. It’s made using local ingredients and no preservatives or artificial colours or flavours.

Co-op’s vegan biscuit range doesn’t end there. The retailer also offers vegan bourbon creams, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread bunny biscuits, jammy wheels, and tea biscuits.

Co-op is also home to squeeze bottles of dairy-free chocolate spread. The Hazelnut & Cocoa Spread — a Nutella-inspired dip made by Nature’s Store — is free from palm oil.

The vegan Biscoff & Go pots will be available for £1 in convenience shops like Nisa, Spar, and Costcutter.
