Bake the Perfect Vegan Pizza With This Gluten-Free Sweet Potato Crust

Bake the Perfect Vegan Pizza With This Gluten-Free Sweet Potato Crust

My new go-to healthy pizza crust is this gluten-free, sweet potato pizza crust recipe! It’s the perfect vegan crust for any pizza.

Honestly, I think I may make these now instead of regular pizza dough. This pizza crust is super high protein (it features 26 grams of protein per personal pizza crust). So, even if you don’t add any vegan meats and top only with veggies, you will still have a complete meal! The crust recipe is oil-free, gluten-free, vegan, and all that jazz!!

To make the crust, my recipe calls for sweet potatoes, garbanzo bean flour, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, and various seasonings. These include onion powder, oregano, salt, garlic powder, and basil.

I’m so glad I wrote down this recipe. I know I will personally come back here often and remake this recipe at home for weeknight dinners! As a matter of fact, we’re having this again for dinner tonight!

Top this crust with your favorite pizza sauce and delectable toppings. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

For more pizza recipes, try making these vegan garlic, cheese, and spinach pizza rolls. The little cheesy, garlicky rolls are so appetizing and tasty. These vegan spinach & cheese pizza rolls are amazing piping-hot, straight out of the oven. But if you want to eat them once they’ve cooled down to room temp, they’re just as delicious. This recipe is like a spinachy-garlicky-creamy piece of garlic bread. Just like my sweet potato pizza crust, each bite is absolutely delicious!

For more Italian recipes, try making this creamy tomato pasta with vegan parmesan and vodka. According to the recipe’s author: “This creamy, tomato-y pasta dish gets its smokiness from adobo sauce (the sauce that canned chipotle peppers are packed in), it’s creaminess from vegan half and half and parmesan, and the “vodka” in the name from….vodka.” The dairy-free penne ala vodka is incredibly easy to make.

If you’re on the prowl for a more creative pasta recipe, try making this “meaty”, cheesy vegan cheeseburger pasta bake recipe by Vegan Punks. It’s packed with Iceland’s “No Bull” burgers and is sure to be a “people-pleaser.”
